On the 6th of March “NIBULON” and SJV “Wadan Yards Okean” signed 16 contracts for construction of non-self-propelled dry double-holded vessels of mixed navigation (river-sea) aimed to transport both general and bulk cargoes. Main ships’ characteristics:
Length – 90,00 m.
Breadth – 16,00 m.
Shipboard height – 5,20 m.
Max draft – 3,70 m.
Hull is to be operated in small sheets of ice with thickness to 30cm. Ship meets the requirements of the International Code on safe transportation of grain in bulk, of the International Convention on life protection at sea, of the International Regulations on prevention of vessels impingement at sea, of the International Convention on prevention of pollution from vessels, of the State Sanitary Regulations for vessels of Ukraine etc.
