Currently, annual special training is ongoing, followed by a knowledge check on occupational health and safety issues for workers at the NIBULON transshipment terminal. The training is led for employees of the Transshipment Terminal who perform high-risk work, which includes:• electric welding and gas flame works;• transportation of cylinders with various types of gases;• installation, adjustment, maintenance, repair and disassembly of lifting machines and mechanisms, elevators, conveyors, suspended cable hydraulic transport, technological and machine equipment, electrical installations and power transmission lines;• work in wells and bunkers;• work at height;• maintenance and repair of gas pipelines, gas distribution points that use natural hydrocarbon gases;• maintenance of mechanical and automatic lines;• work in silos intended for various agricultural products, etc.Training takes place in three stages.The first is theoretical and involves the study of the current legislation of Ukraine on labor protection, current basics of occupational hygiene and industrial sanitation, general information about medical examinations, accidents, causes, prevention and their investigation. The training was conducted by Serhii Savynets, a specialist in labor protection and medical support of NIBULON.The second stage is practical and will come in handy both in production and in any life situation. Employees of the medical center Lidia Teslia, Nataliia Huts and Anastasiia Tkachuk led a training session dedicated to providing first aid to the injured before the arrival of the medics and mastering the algorithm of actions when a person is found in an emergency. The main emphasis is on practicing basic skills that do not require special medical tools. In particular, the employees of the Transshipment Terminal learned to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation, practiced the technique of indirect heart massage, trained to apply a tourniquet and stop various types of bleeding.Now is taking place the final stage – individual training for each employee with a direct supervisor according to the type of work he performs.
