On the 22nd of May according to the previous announcements there had to be the solemn ceremony on keel-laying of the fist four barges for “NIBULON”. But at the instance of the region and city authorities and by the request of the officials of high rank there was taken a decision to postpone the ceremony on the 3rd of June. In spite of absence of holiday the work is done in time and quickly. So the General director of “NIBULON”, Hero of Ukraine O.O. Vadaturskyy together with his deputies A.O. Vadaturskyy, A.O. Volyk, the heads of the departments V.A. Kozakevych and D.V. Vazanov made sure of that fact. But from the very beginning the General director of “Wadan Yards Okean”, Hero of Ukraine N.P. Romanchuk represented the guests the shipbuilding museum and then each of the shop superintendents showed their allotted works where the “NIBULON” order is carried out. So we can establish the fact that works are made according to the approved plan despite all difficulties. For today nearly 100 percents of metal for barges is received, thread of metal for fabrication of component parts is coming to the end, the first embedded sections of four barges are ready, the paint-and-lacquer materials are delivered, so the construction is going according to the plan and in control. We remind you that under the terms of the contract the release of barges will be committed in four stages: the first and the second ships will be released to “NIBULON” till the 15th of August 2009, the third and the fourth will be released till the 31st of August 2009, the next four – till the 31st of October and another four – till the 30th of November. The last four barges will be released till the 26th of January 2010. 2009 will be the year of realization of the biggest investment project of “NIBULON”. One of the components of this project is a construction of 24 barges of mixed (river-sea) navigation with dead-weight capacity 108 000 tons. As we informed you earlier on the 6th of March 2009 “Wadan Yards Okean” and “NIBULON” signed 16 contracts for barges construction.
