From the 20th to the 21st, January 2010 the second International Grain Trade Summit – one of the key events in the international grain trade – took place in Singapore. The latest developments in the world market of grain products, topical issues of regional grain markets development, including Australia, India, Indonesia, China, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and others were discussed at the summit. Particularly among the key issues that were discussed at the summit that bears mentioning: – problems of management of goods among market changeability and uncertainty; – future investment in agriculture; – an overview of the grain market and its challenges, risks (from the changeability of weather conditions to fluctuations of dollar); – financing vehicle of the grain trade; -analysis of economic regions and markets ( China, India, the Black Sea region, Australia, Egypt); – problems of grain transportation market in terms of world trade  and others.             Leading regional and global grain traders, importers, processing and transports related products, agrarian business experts and government representatives from the Asia-Pacific region: Grain Silos & Flour Mills, Cargill, Touton, Olam, GrainCorp, Viterra, BULOG, SGS, Peter Cremer, ANZ, Toepfer International, Chaoren Pokphand, Japfa Comfeed, The State Trading Corporation of India, Adani Wilmar, GASC, Sabio Pronostico, The Islamic Bank of Asia participated in the summit. Ukraine was representedby NIBULON on the west, namely: Deputy General Director for trade A.O. Vadaturskyy.             The Summit became a logical continuation of the first meeting in a similar format, which was held also in Singapore in February 2009 and it was attended by about 250 top managers from more than 50 countries.  The Second International Grain Trade Summit was held at the highest level and was intended to be the key for solving of the problems that traders and importers of their products face.
