The companies signed a contract for the new season. The decision was a logical continuation of the fruitful two-year cooperation between the two large companies. During this time, TTS handled 3.5 million tonnes of NIBULON’s cargo. The new contract provides for the handling of 1.6 million tonnes of grain this season.

The joint activities under the new agreement began immediately: CNFR NAVROM SA has transported milling wheat from Izmail to Constanta, after which TTS Operator S.R.L. handled 63,000 tonnes of cargo on board the WADI TIBA vessel using a floating crane.
In addition, TTS ensured the delivery and loading of 30,000 mt of rapeseed on board the vessel AMALIA. Thus, our partner carried out the simultaneous transportation and loading of two vessels at once. A third vessel is expected to arrive this week to load 32,500 mt of feed wheat.
Serhii Kalkutin, Director of Logistics:
‘Over the past two years, we have built an effective partnership with TTS. The implementation of a comprehensive solution with a continuous stable cargo flow allows us to optimise our processes and reduce our delivery costs, which helps us to compete with the deep-water ports of Odesa.
In this cooperation, we aim to maintain the shipment volumes we have achieved.
With freight costs from the Ukrainian Black Sea ports decreasing, the Danube-Constanta logistics chain is becoming $10 more expensive compared to the deep-water ports of Odesa, so it is important to find opportunities to build a more sustainable flow of traffic and minimize costs at all stages of our logistics chain to Constanta.
We are grateful to TTS for an important long-term partnership and look forward to continuing this joint strategic story.’
