NIBULON has developed a plan to improve the elevators’ operations using Lean methodology

We continue optimizing the operations of our elevators using Lean methodology. Therefore, we would like to inform you about the completion of the next diagnostic stage of the transformation. Based on the new knowledge acquired by the employees during the previous training stage, a comprehensive audit of production processes was conducted in cooperation with consultants from Lean Institute Ukraine. As a result, we have a detailed report that offers specific ways to improve the organization of the branch, and the laboratory in particular.

The current level of efficiency of NIBULON’s processes according to Lean methodology has the potential for improvement, and now we clearly understand how to achieve this. The focus is on eliminating inefficient factors affecting the process of vehicle unloading, such as unnecessary movements or deficiencies in document flow, as well as ensuring more efficient laboratory operations through both physical upgrades and organizational measures.

“The course towards quality!” says Oleksii Vierovchuk, head of the elevator organization and activity control service. “We must direct our efforts to provide our agricultural producers with a service that is worthy of their painstaking work during the war. We thank Lean Institute Ukraine for the assistance on this journey. It was an interesting theoretical and experimental experience, during which we examined every link of the production process, modeled future processes, and through lively discussions we found new solutions that will soon become part of the production cycle of our entire network of elevators.”

“At Lean Institute, our focus is always on the person performing certain operations. Through our tools, we strive to understand how to improve the working environment in a broad sense to increase efficiency and eliminate negative factors that could impact health. We are very pleased that NIBULON’s employees are open to changes and willingly embrace new experiences. This is crucial for transformation! We wish the team success on this journey,” says Tetiana Shylizhynska, a consultant at Lean Institute Ukraine.

We will continue to inform you about the changes that the elevator sector will soon undergo, as the team is simultaneously implementing new digital solutions for quantitative and qualitative accounting, as well as paperless document flow, alongside Lean methodology optimization.

We would like to remind you that recently we also updated laboratory equipment in the elevator network and will improve the quality of laboratory tests through an independent equipment audit.
