At the beginning of June, the meetup of series “Stronger Together” took place in Odessa and gather agricultural producers, who closely cooperate with the youngest NIBULON’s branch in Odesa region in Izmail.Due to the constant growth of the branches’ export volumes, the company works on improving and optimization of all processes. Among the priority plans of NIBULON – implementation of the electronic line for auto transport, which will significantly simplify and speed up the process of accepting of products from suppliers. “We set a high value on our partners time and understand, how important it is for them to transfer products to the branch as quickly as possible. To make this process convenient, clear and fast, our specialists currently work on all the details for mending an effective, uninterruptable grain accepting mechanism. Approximately we plan to test and launch the electronic line for auto transport within two months”, – noted the Director on Logistics, Serhii Kalkutin.The main time of the meeting was devoted to communication and discussion of the urgent issues, including the future prices for barley and fodder wheat, which for today are key products for NIBULON. Volodymyr Slavinskyi, Director on Trade, presented the current dynamic and expectations for the grain prices to help Ukrainian agricultural producers navigate the situation on the global market.Also, this time, in addition to the farmers from the region, the meeting was visited by Alla Stoyanova, Head of the Agrarian Politics, Head of Department of Agrarian Policy, Food and Land Relations of Odesa Region. Together with representatives of NIBULON and entrepreneurs, Mrs. Alla discussed reformations, strategies and programs for the development of the agricultural sector of Odesa region, in particular the land reclamation reform, the purpose of which is – to modernize land reclamation systems and increase the area of irrigated lands in Odesa region. In the future this will allow more effective implement agricultural potential of the region, particularly, increase the volume of the production.
