t has become a good tradition for the company to support the competition, as it is another opportunity to make Ukraine known as a maritime state. NIBULON has been developing its own fleet and internal logistics for more than 10 years, making a significant contribution to the development of shipping and shipbuilding in the country. This is why we cannot remain indifferent and strive to revive the traditions and strength of Ukraine as a maritime state.
We are convinced that support for the Ukrainian maritime prose competition is not only an incentive for the development of modern maritime works in multiple genres but also a tool for preserving traditions, memory, and honoring important figures and heroes of Ukrainian shipping and shipbuilding.
Director of NIBULON Shipbuilding and Shiprepair Yard and a member of the competition jury:
“Every year, ‘MATELOT’ has its own special theme for works of fiction. This year’s theme, which will be a common thread throughout all the works of marine writers, is the ‘Ukrainian sea corridor’. We are grateful to the organizers for the relevance of the choice and for understanding the importance of its coverage. Currently, NIBULON is actively advocating for the unblocking of the Mykolaiv port as a powerful part of the Ukrainian corridor. We are convinced that the resumption of the port’s operation will have a positive impact on the functioning of the entire agricultural sector of Ukraine. So, we wish strength and inspiration to the participants. May the best person win!”
The motto of this year’s competition will be the catchphrase of NIBULON’s founder, Oleksiy Vadaturskyy – #DON’T GIVE UP. We are proud that these eternal words have resonated not only in the hearts of NIBULON’s employees but also in the hearts of “sea wolves” of the competition.
Seven feet under the keel to all participants!
