“Nibulon Ltd.” imported two grain dryers produced by „MATTEWS” (the USA) with total productivity of 150 MT/hour on wheat for moisture reduction from 17% to 12%. The dryers will be installed at “Nibulon Ltd.” transshipment terminal instead of currently functioning ones of lower capacity (each dryer – 50 MT/hour on wheat for moisture reduction from 17% to 12%), that will be subsequently installed in the branches of “Nibulon Ltd.”: „Agrokombinat Vradievskiy” and „Khmelnikskiy”. With the upgrade of dryers, the capacity to accept maize at the transshipment terminal will be increased to 3 thousand MT daily. Installation of the dryers is at its final stage. Also, negotiations are being finalized about purchasing of two more dryers of maximum capacity, produced by „MATTEWS” (the USA), that will be installed in “Nibulon Ltd.” branches in Poltava and Cherkassy regions.

By 01/07/2006, an additional metal silo with capacity 600 MT will be installed, which will significantly increase the terminal’s capacity for intake of small volumes of peas, rape, and also will be used as bunker for grains with higher moisture. This storage silo will be designed with transportation equipment produced by “CIMBRIA Unigrain A/S” (Denmark), including: 3 belt conveyors with productivity 160 MT/hour and bucket elevators with productivity 160 MT/hour and 350 MT/hour.

Increase in the total capacity of drying equipment at the terminal by 1,5 times and installation of dryers in the Company’s branches will allow significant increase in capability of “Nibulon Ltd.” for intake of agricultural produce having higher moisture rate with subsequent bringing to merchantable conditions according to international standards, and also will allow widening the Company’s access to work directly with grain-producers in the regions of “Nibulon Ltd.” activities. The applied measures on increasing the drying capacities will further strengthen positions of “Nibulon Ltd.” in the world market for maize.
