Our IT specialists, in cooperation with the IT-Enterprise team, have recently completed a significant overhaul and digitalization of one of the most process-intensive projects – the quantitative and qualitative accounting of the elevator network.

Quantitative and qualitative accounting is a key process for the elevator complexes operations, and their efficiency impacts the profitability of this area. The project to optimize quantitative and qualitative accounting covered the improvement of grain accounting business processes, as well as the implementation of additional processes for logistics management and calculation of cost.
“The introduction of a new, efficient version of the quantitative and qualitative accounting process has enabled automated tracking of grain movement, its key quality indicators, and costs incurred for processing and transportation, from the moment it enters the elevator until it is shipped to the end consumer. In this way, an accurate cost price is formed, and profitability is calculated. Most importantly, we understand what impact can be made at each stage to improve financial and service performance,” notes Mykola Riasko, CIO of NIBULON.
The ultimate goal of the project is the transition to a fully “digital elevator” model, where the operating principle is based on the management and coordination of all processes through digital systems. This concept is gradually being scaled to all 23 elevator complexes of NIBULON.
“Summarizing the results of the quantitative and qualitative accounting digitalization in three sentences: firstly, it simplifies and automates business processes, speeding up their execution. Secondly, it improves accounting accuracy, providing clearer insights into the company’s financial condition. Thirdly, it enhances customer orientation, as the service provision process has become faster and more efficient,” comments Mykola Riasko.
Overall, the digitalization project also contributed to standardizing accounting processes across all branches of the agricultural holding and improving integration with equipment and third-party systems, enabling effective business process management.
It should be noted that the industry expertise and approaches developed by IT-Enterprise, as a solution architect and process integrator, were crucial during this phase of cooperation, as they took into account the specifics of the agricultural exporter operations.
