At the beginning of April, NIBULON received an accreditation certificate following the requirements of DSTU EN ISO/IEC 17025:2019 (EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017, IDT; ISO/IEC 17025:2017, IDT), issued by the National Accreditation Agency of Ukraine.
The DSTU EN ISO/IEC 17025:2019 standard (EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017, IDT; ISO/IEC 17025:2017, IDT), titled “General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories” (hereinafter referred to as the standard), defines the general requirements for the competence, impartiality, and consistent operation of laboratories. The successful accreditation confirms the competence of our production and technological laboratory, located at the transshipment terminal in Mykolaiv, and its ability to ensure the quality of research.
Preparation for the accreditation of the production and technological laboratory was a carefully organized process. Before the accreditation, the laboratory’s specialists underwent training on the standard’s requirements and provisions at the International School of Technical Legislation and Quality Management. Additionally, our specialists received training in the State Scientific Research Control Institute of Veterinary Medicinal Products and Feed Additives, where they studied methods for detecting mycotoxins using the enzyme immunoassay method.
The next stage of preparation involved the inspection of all laboratory facilities, during which the company’s specialists ensured that factors such as microbiological contamination, dust, electromagnetic interference, radiation, humidity, power supply, temperature, sound, and vibration did not negatively affect the reliability of the results. Special attention was paid to the technical infrastructure. All equipment underwent calibration at SE “Ukrmetrteststandard”. Necessary reagents, materials, and standard samples were acquired, and method verification was carried out.
The received accreditation certificate confirms the competence of the transshipment terminal’s production and technological laboratory in conducting physicochemical, atomic absorption, chromatographic, radiological, and molecular-genetic testing of plant-based products, grain and processed grain products, oilseed crops and fruits, and animal feed. It allows the company to provide services related to the assessment of the quality and safety of agricultural products (with the issuance of appropriate documentation) to third-party organizations.
