In February, we announced the reform of NIBULON’s elevators, which includes changing the management model of the branches at the regional level. The changes include personnel reorganization, expansion of the responsibilities and scope of work for employees, thus leading to enhancement of their qualifications and improvement of professional knowledge.

To this end, NIBULON has launched a new educational project which includes professional training for employees of elevators and production and technical laboratories of the company. USAID Economic Resilience Activity, the NGO “International Foundation of Development” and the Institute of Postgraduate Education of the National University of Food Technologies will assist us with the project.
The training will cover 175 elevator specialists and 26 laboratory workers, namely 2-5 grade grain processing operators, heads of production and technical laboratories, and management of the quality assurance and product storage service.
A total of 10 online classes are planned; they will last until April 26.
Among the main topics of training are modern technologies and methods of grain storage, grain quality management, cleaning methods and technologies, grain drying technologies, and maintenance of drying equipment, as well as methods of determining grain quality and diagnosis of grain diseases.
Yana Romanenko, HRD of NIBULON:
“Any reforms within the company are closely tied to the enhancement of employees’ qualifications, and NIBULON is no exception. Updating professional knowledge enables each of us to adapt to changes in the market, use new technologies, and increase productivity in today’s competitive world. Today, we see that the focus on the training and development of a highly specialized professionals is shifting to cross-disciplinary knowledge and mastering related professions. For us as a company that relies on modern approaches to work, modernization, and the implementation of innovative technologies, this is very important; our specialists must thoroughly know the working processes of elevators and production branches from A to Z.
We are grateful to the partners for their assistance in implementing the project to improve the qualifications of NIBULON’s employees. We are confident that this is just the first step in our joint work on the way to new heights of work quality and efficiency.”
The training is held within the framework of “Workforce Development for Ukraine”, a project implemented by the NGO “International Foundation of Development” with the support of USAID Economic Resilience Activity.
Last year, with the assistance of USAID Economic Resilience Activity, 14 employees of NIBULON Shipbuilding and Shiprepair Yard received additional specialization in the construction and repair of new types of railway wagons and requirements for the construction of metal bridges.
