A 7,000-ton coaster, loaded with soybean, has left Bessarabska branch in the port of Izmail for Turkey. The company expects to make such shipments on a regular basis.

The event marks a new era for Ukraine in the use of the export chain via the Danube ports, establishing it as a viable alternative to the traditional route via the Black Sea ports.
NIBULON’s barges and tugs will continue to operate on the Izmail – Constanța route to enable the loading of large vessels.
The additional option of loading coasters strengthens the company’s trade and logistics advantages in delivering batches of up to 7 thousand tonnes directly to the country of destination.
Serhii Kalkutin, Director of Logistics at NIBULON, adds that the company is ready to provide transshipment services to other exporters, as the terminal’s three berths are capable of loading vessels of different classes simultaneously.
