This is one of the hottest periods in crop growing, because the amount of winter crop directly depends on right timing of sufficient mineral fertilizer applying. Presently we fertilize thawed soil in all left bank area branches of “NIBULON Ltd.”. In branches of Mykolayiv, Vinnytsya, Cherkasy, Zhytomyr and Khmelnyts’kyy regions we have already fertilized 8 thousand hectares of winter crop that is 45% of planned volumes. In general we plan to fertilize 18 thousand hectares in branches of enumerated regions. Branches of Lugansk, Kharkiv and Poltava regions postpone these activities due to poor weather conditions. Nevertheless all our branches are ready to fulfill this task, all machines are ready, waiting for night ground frosts. Altogether on a company basis we plan to fertilize 25,7 thousand hectares and namely: 19 thousand hectares of winter wheat,  4,7 thousand hectares of winter barley, 800 hectares of rape, and 1300 of other winter crops. We have made a new start, “NIBULON” team works on a new crop of 2009. Simultaneously with spring field works we have settled the issue of delivery of high-quality stock seeds of cereal crops. Till the end of the week we plan to finish the delivery of high-quality stock seeds to the branches, from the regional branches seed grain of the first and second reproduction will be shifted to the other branches. The company uses only high-quality stock seeds of high reproductions. There had been already purchased sunflower and corn seeds of  both leading world, Ukrainian producers such as «Pioneer», «Monsanto», «Syngenta», «Ukrainian Gardens» and European seeds producers, whose crossbreeds approved themselves in the recent years. It is completed the delivery of mineral fertilizers required for 2009. All the necessary volumes are purchased, including even carbamide that we are going to use for foliar nutrition in May. We have already had all fertilizers we need for a complex of spring field works. Currently we are working on a delivery of means of crop protection and we hope to settle this issue till the end of February. This year, despite the world financial crisis, “NIBULON Ltd.” continues to carry out the programs of machinery renovation and creation of fleet of tractors in the new branches. We have already purchased 10 wide-cut cultivators “Smaragd” and 6 brand-new highly productive sprayers «Lemken», and besides we are engaged on a contract to supply light tractors, planting outfits, crop protective outfits.   The Head of Production Department of “NIBULON Ltd.” Khmel’nyts’kyy K.
