The Board of Directors of NIBULON, the collegial executive body responsible for managing the company’s day-to-day operations, supervision and control, is now fully formed.
We are pleased to introduce the non-executive directors of NIBULON.
Christian Salatko spent most of his career in the BNP Paribas Group, holding senior management positions in different countries and in several fields of activity such as Internal Audit, Corporate Banking, Commodity Trade Finance, Wealth Management and Human Resources.
In Switzerland, he has notably been responsible of the Trade Finance activity covering the entire soft commodities area. Over the past 4 years, he was, at Wealth Management, Head of Key Clients for Central & Eastern Europe.
Christian graduated from INALCO and IAE in France.
Marion Lefevre has over eighteen years’ experience in the agribusiness and commodities trading industry with an expertise in corporate finance, financial planning and analysis as well as risk management and operations.
Most recently, she held the position of Chief Operating Officer of a global agribusiness group headquartered in Switzerland, specializing in the farming and merchandising of grain and oilseeds. Marion now works at Trafigura, a leading energy and metals trading house.
She graduated from Ecole Polytechnique in France.
Dirk Kuiper has extensive experience in Trade & Commodity Finance, having worked for various banks in the Netherlands. Most recently, he served as the Global Head of Energy at Coöperatieve Rabobank U.A., where he currently holds a senior role in the Financial Restructuring & Recovery division.
A Dutch national, Dirk earned his Master of Laws degree from the University of Leiden in the Netherlands.
As a reminder, the one-tier corporate governance structure was introduced in NIBULON last autumn. Before the full Board of Directors was formed, during the transitional period, decisions were made by the General Meeting in accordance with the provisions of the company’s charter.
The Board of Directors has four standing committees: 1) Transformation and Investment Committee; 2) Budget Committee; 3) Audit and Risk Management Committee; 4) Nomination and Remuneration Committee.
