Director of “Bilovodska” branch M.O.Limanov received a letter of commendation from the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for conscientious work and strong qualifications and on the occasion of agricultural worker’s day. On November the 25th, 2009 on the occasion of agricultural worker’s day the solemnity took place in Kyiyv, the President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko, Prime Minister of Ukraine Yu.V. Tymoshenko were personally present with celebratory congratulations of laureates. During the solemnity Victor Yushchenko made a congratulatory speech to agricultural sector workers and passed an opinion upon government agricultural policy. In particular, he related deficiency of proper logistics infrastructure development to its weak points and opposition of state officials to those entrepreneurs who try to develop it on their own. “The Government doesn’t assist those enterprises, which develop infrastructure and makes a pushback to them. I can give an example. “NIBULON” builds river terminals on Dnipro and elevators, builds non-self-propelled barges, creating its own fleet for grain transportation. Agreement procedure concerning the building of every object lasts to two years. Government blocks shipping of grain crops. During long time period call to the company’s transshipment terminal of the vessel «Preventer» has been blocked, neither conferences on this issue, nor appealing to Procurator General, the Prime Minister helped. Due to this “help” Ukraine can lose contract on delivery of 60 thousand tons of barley to Iran”. The President also emphasized positive changes in agriculture complex. “During last years investment prospects of agriculture have dramatically increased”. During 2005-2008 capacity of capital expenditures into the branch increased almost three times. From 2000 till 2008 the capacity of outside credits of agricultural enterprises of Ukraine during a year increased 10 times, and capacity of soft credits-almost 20 times”. “I’m sure that peasantry is able and has to be a basic foundation for the development of our country and nation”, – concluded the President.
