For two weeks, from June the 23rd till July the 6th, harvesters of “Snigurivs’ka” branch (Shyroke, Mykolayiv region) finished gathering of the first early crops. “Snigurivs’ka” branch threshed more than 11 tons of grain. This year local experts outstripped all graphs and became the first of 21 agricultural branches of NIBULON in harvest gathering. A lot of positive reasons promoted this success: harmonious care of people, who work there for 10 years, dry and sunny weather, absence of technical stoppage and repair. But it seems that for the director of the branch this success is not unexpected. “This event is traditional, because we always gather the crop for 10 days: 3-5 days we need for gathering of winter barley, 6-5 – for winter wheat. And we have no other way! If barley overgrows, in 3 days we will loose 10% of the whole harvest. That`s why irrespective of quantity of land under crop the most important thing for team of “Snigurivs’ka” branch is to gather the crop in optimal terms “, – Y.Moroz said. But it should be pointed out that the equipment and agricultural machinery plays the important role in getting such record results. For the harvest at “Snigurivs’ka” branch there were concentrated 11 modern harvesters. Four of them are “MASSEY FERGUSON”, one – “John Deer”, and six new “Case” harvesters, which were solemnly presented at the first day of harvest gathering. That day the head of Mykolayiv Regional Rada Tetyana Demchenko visited the branch and the director of “Snigurivs’ka” branch Y.Moroz was rewarded with the Gratitude of Mykolayiv Regional for first 10 thousand tons of the early crop. The first deputy head of Snigurivka district administration O.Zamoriy also congratulated harvesters of “Snigurivs’ka” branch with korowai – traditional Ukrainian bread. Other NIBULON branches have just started to harvest. So during three days all combine harvesters will be replaced to such branches as “Bashtans’ka” (Mykolayiv region), “Khmil’nyk” (Vinnytsya region), “Chygyryn” (Cherkasy region), “Suhorabivs’ka” ( Poltava region), “Svativs’ka” (Lugans’k region). “Snigurivs’ka” branch continues to prepare soil for wintersowing going on. About 2000 hectares (of 2700 planned) are already prepared soil for winter crop sowing. The first disking and cultivation are fulfilled. So today NIBULON branches have already gathered 25% of early crops. Photo report
