As spring arrives, intensive fieldwork continues at NIBULON’s production branches. The winter crops have been fertilized, plant protection measures are being implemented, the soil is being prepared for sowing spring crops, and the harvesting equipment is being prepared for the upcoming season.
In February, in the Mykolaiv cluster, winter wheat was fertilized across 8,400 hectares, and winter rapeseed on 7,400 hectares. As a result of the timely fertilization, the crops are in satisfactory or good condition and are actively growing.
In early March, with the temperature rise, a mass emergence of the rape stem weevil occurred on the rapeseed crops. Consequently, the first insecticide treatment was quickly carried out over 7,400 hectares.
Soil preparation and future sowing
Simultaneously, soil preparation for sowing late spring crops is underway, including moisture retention to maintain optimal water balance, as well as soil cultivation and leveling to create favorable conditions for sowing.
NIBULON is fully equipped with everything needed for the successful implementation of spring fieldwork:
✔️ Seeds (soy, corn, sunflower)
✔️Mineral fertilizers
✔️Plant protection products
✔️Equipment, which has undergone necessary repairs and is ready for work.
