The fifth international conference “ Black Sea Grain – 2008: challenge to the weather and state regulation” was held on the 9 – 12 of May. 450 participants from 37 countries took part in the conference. “ Black Sea Grain – 2008” is arranged by the Analytic centre “UkrAgroConsult” and proved itself as a large regional forum. According to the words of Sergey Feofilov, Director of “UkrAgroConsult”, the conference gathers more and more participants, the quality of their membership is changed. They are not only leading grain traders but also large banks, investment companies. Business-Tour to the “NIBULON Ltd.” branches is held for the second time within the limits of the conference. Answering to the question why this company is shown to foreign guests for the second time Sergey Feofilov told that interest towards Ukraine is growing constantly and of course it is more effective to work with those large Ukrainian companies which can show high professional production level: – “NIBULON Ltd.” is a perfect partner, reliable people. It is easy for us to work with them. We fully appreciate each other and do a common thing – promote interests of agrarian sector of Ukraine to the world markets. Last year the participants of the conference visited the south of Ukraine, branches of “NIBULON Ltd.”which are situated in Nikolaev Region. This year the guests were invited to Cherkassy and Poltava Regions and shown two new elevators “Zolotonoshskyy” and “Reshetilovskyy” and the fields of “Chigirin” branch. “Zolotonoshskyy” and “Reshetilovskyy” elevators are modern automated enterprises equipped with the whole complex of laboratory, cleaning, drying and transfer equipment of “SCAFCO Corporation” ( the USA), “Cimbria Unigrain A/S”, “A/S J.C. Lokkes Mashinfabric”, “SIMATEK A/S” ( Denmark), “FOSS ANALYTICAL AB” ( Switzerland), “Elevatormel’mash” ( Russia). The distinctive features of these and other elevators of “NIBULON Ltd.” are efficient powerful dryers of continuous action Mathews 3180BEM-NG produced by the USA. The peculiarity of these dryers is their capacity to provide grain drying to necessary conditions in soft (part load) mode without damaging grain. Due to the introduced technology of drying “NIBULON Ltd.” is able to provide guaranteed delivery of maize, rapeseeds, sunflower seeds and other crops to the world markets. Most of the guests visited Ukraine for the first time and were amazed at the level of the Ukrainian company, took vivid interest in economic issues. Simon Dennison, “Laurence Gould Consultants Ltd” visited “NIBULON Ltd.” the second time: – This year as last year I was astonished by the quality of work of the Company and warm welcome. I went to business-tour to see this company one more time and compare with what I saw last year. There is no much knowledge in England about agriculture of Ukraine, and development of farming here. The English companies are interested in investment in Ukraine that’s why I’d like to learn more about development of agrarian sector of Ukraine. Yuriy Skichko, “Hermes Trading”: –  Our company has been working at grain market of Ukraine for more than 10 years. We participate in the conference not for the first time. I’d like to mark that the conference is becoming more professional, the audience – more serious. Many serious traders which are present at the markets of Europe, the USA, Australia, and Asia are interested in Ukraine. Ukraine with its potential attracts investors.       Especially I would like to point out that the changes which occur in Ukraine now once more emphasize that we have seen at elevator of “NIBULON Ltd.”: Ukraine and Ukrainian companies approach seriously to the development of rural economy. Top-level technologies are used in production which permit to be competitive under the conditions of growing value of energy carriers, inputs connected with servicing of grain. These technologies are actual and necessary nowadays in order to Ukrainian agricultural production will be competitive either on the Ukrainian market or on the foreign markets. Sergey Feofilov, “UkrAgroConsult”: – The impressions from branches of “NIBULON Ltd.” are great. If there were more of such companies I’m sure that under united efforts such modern elevators would be spread in Ukraine and it would lead to position consolidation of Ukrainian agrarian sector on the foreign markets. Stavros A. Makris, “M.D. Cyprus Soya Ltd”: – The company I work cooperates with Nibulon Ltd directly. This is my first visit to Ukraine. I came to take part in the conference and business-tour specially to see this company myself, to get acquainted with my partners. The company impressed me very much. I also liked the excursions in museums. Nibulon Ltd made a little present for the guests, it is the visit to places of interest in Cherkassy and Poltava regions. The excursions to Bohdan Hmelnitskyy Museum, St. Illias Church,   Poltava Battle Museum were included  in the programme of business-tour. The participants of business-tour visited also Reshetilovskyy Professional  Lyceum of Arts, saw the exhibition of gobelins (tapestry) and other goods of Ukrainian folk useful arts. Summing –up of business-tour, General Director of Nibulon Ltd Aleksey Vadaturskyy noted: We have been showing the different branches of our company in different Ukrainian regions for two years. Last year our guests had the opportunity to estimate the level of Nibulon branches in Nikolaev region, now we showed our branches in central part of Ukraine in Cherkassy and Poltava regions. We showed the Nibulon branches on the inside to gain the better trust and understanding by our guests and perhaps our future partners.70 thousand hectares of land are cultivated in Nibulon and we have more than 3200 workers. Every year we invest in new projects about USD 40 million. Nibulon Ltd is among the best commodity producer in Ukraine and the best company-exporter. Our branches are provided with the most modern equipment and technics. There is a young team in the company. The most important is that we are Ukrainians and we will do our best in order Ukraine to be on the same level with other progressive developed countries of the world in the nearest future. Ukraine is a young country. 16 years of independence is too short term to open its potential.  We have a democratic President, progressive government, industrious people, beautiful country with the unique geographical position, splendid chernozems so the wonderful future will wait for our country. Ukraine will work in practice itself as leading manufacturable agrarian country in the nearest future.
