At the invitation of Scania Ukraine, a delegation of NIBULON, led by Director of Logistics Serhii Kalkutin, recently participated in a study tour to Södertälje, Sweden. The leaders of the company’s logistics department visited the headquarters and production facilities of Scania, as well as familiarized themselves with a full-cycle manufacturing plant for the Scania engine range.

As part of the visit, meetings were held with representatives of the plants and regional management of the company.
The NIBULON delegation paid special attention to familiarizing themselves with advanced practices in production automation and testing Scania battery electric trucks. These vehicles enable a 100% emission-free operation with up to 450 km range on a single charge.
According to Serhii Kalkutin, understanding the capabilities of modern technologies helps NIBULON shape its logistics development strategy considering new opportunities, as well as strive for European environmental standards in its operations in Ukraine.
The experience gained is important for understanding Scania’s development towards greater efficiency and environmentally friendly technologies, which are important components of the development of modern global logistics.
Scania’s focus on optimization and sustainability helps NIBULON enhance its competitiveness by integrating modern equipment into its logistics processes.
