– damages to the environment of Ukraine- the economic consequences of this damage- successful examples of bringing the aggressor to justice for damages to nature- other countries that have suffered environmental damageWe know firsthand what a devastating impact an aggressor has on the economy, infrastructure and environment. Among other consequences that our company feels on itself is contamination by explosive substances. Currently, 30% of Ukrainian territories are mined, and it will take the country up to 30 years to clear them. Thus, due to contaminant by explosive objects, the company cannot operate at the Snihurivska, Troitska, Novopskovska, Bilovodska and Starobilska branches, as well as at the elevators – Kozatska, Holoprystanska, Kamianka-Dniprovska and Starobilskyi elevator LLC. We prove by our own example that farmers can master a new business of demining. We receive the status of operator of anti-mines activities and have already returned to cultivation the first 1500 ha of Ukrainian lands. Although, Ukrainian farmers are urgently required in help from the world community for purchasing of the equipment and special machinery for demining. Investments in the necessary equipment will not only accelerate the returning of agricultural lands to the Ukrainian economy but will also contribute to ensuring global food security. The research was conducted by the team of ToopLead together with the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine and the Polish publishing house Gazeta Wyborcza. We hope that information which are systemized in this research will also contribute to the development of an effective mechanism for punishing the aggressor and compensation for environmental damage. To download the research in English you can at the following link: http://bitly.ws/LzzN
