NIBULON is repeatedly acknowledged as a prompt large taxpayer in Ukraine, as the company keeps the principles of transparency in doing business and responsibility in fulfilling its tax liabilities. The 2021 results revealed that the company paid UAH 829.38 million taxes and dues to fund the budgets at various levels, UAH 150.39 million of which was profits tax. In particular:- UAH 334.33 million was paid to the local community budgets; and- UAH 495.05 million was paid to Ukraine’s state budget.NIBULON’s tax revenues are a considerable contribution to the development of territorial communities where the company’s facilities operate, namely 69 communities in 13 regions across Ukraine. These united territorial communities consist of 1,760 settlements in which more than 2 million people live. NIBULON’s taxes are the main receipts for most of these communities, thereby enabling them to implement important social projects.In addition, the company does not ignore environmental issues, supports medicine and education, as well as implements NIBULON’s standard program in the communities where the company’s facilities operate. The implementation of its own investment project to revive the Dnipro and the Southern Buh as main transport arteries of Ukraine enables the company to redirect more than 4 million tons of cargoes from roads to rivers annually. Consequently, in 2021, the company removed the equivalent of 172 thousand trucks from Ukrainian highways. Since NIBULON’s fleet commenced its operations, the company has removed the equivalent of more than 1 million trucks. Thus, a statement about the development and improvement of communities where NIBULON operates has already become an axiom.The state receives taxes paid by the company, which are of great importance when planning and executing the state budget. Please note that the taxes annually paid by the company in Mykolaiv region enable the state to pay pensions to one in every ten pensioners in the region. NIBULON annually confirms its status as a large taxpayer in Ukraine’s agrarian sector and as a socially responsible business which cares for the country’s development, paying up to UAH 1 billion taxes and dues to the budgets at various levels annually.
