NIBULON invests in humanitarian demining to help the state cope with the consequences of the war faster

In April 2023, NIBULON was the first agricultural producer to receive the status of a demining operator and a certificate for non-technical survey of territories.

Subsequently, a contract was signed with the German Development Bank DEG Impulse gGmbH, a subsidiary of DEG, which provided co-financing for the purchase and maintenance of GCS-200 demining machines. This opened the possibility in April 2024 to obtain certificates for manual demining and technical demining using machines and mechanisms.

Today, NIBULON is the first agricultural company and a humanitarian demining operator to hold all five key humanitarian demining certificates and to possess its own fleet of demining equipment.

NIBULON now employs qualified deminers with military experience who understand the value of risk and undergo regular retraining. The team is equipped with modern equipment and ammunition to ensure high quality services and protect the lives of the deminers.

We created SPECIAL DEMINE FORCES, an initiative for large-scale training of specialists in non-technical survey of territories

As part of the initiative that unites NIBULON’s employees under the slogan “Making Ukraine Safe Again,” every employee, regardless of gender or position, can undergo specialized training in the preparatory process for humanitarian demining, namely, in non-technical survey (NTS). The opening of courses for employees, upon completion of which they will receive a certification as a specialist in non-technical survey of territories, will expand the scope of humanitarian demining and scale up the activities to clear Ukrainian land.

5 stages of the full demining cycle

01 Non-technical survey

Collection, analysis, and evaluation of information about the area is made to determine whether it is a potentially or confirmed hazardous area and the needed processes for removing, reducing, or clearing areas for further effective action without the use of technical means.

Collection and analysis of data using technical means on the presence, type, distribution, and surroundings of explosive ordnance contamination (EOC) sites to better determine the presence or absence of EOC and to support land clearance prioritization and decision-making processes.

Identification of all EOC threats without the use of mechanization and mine detection dogs.

The systematic and controlled clearance of hazardous areas from explosive ordnance when the relevant risk is known not to be related to mines in areas that may include battlefields, defensive positions, and other locations where air-dropped munitions or artillery shells, including cluster munitions, have been activated or fired.

A method that involves the use of mechanization in demining operations. This is an effective way to detect and destroy explosive ordnance over large areas of land.

Our strengths

Learn more about how we are helping agricultural producers cope with the consequences of the war

Matters of your life are worth being resolved by professionals!

Remember that either demining land on your own without professional training or postponing the issue poses a direct threat to life. The sensitivity of explosive ordnance to external influences increases as the years pass, making demining more difficult and expensive in the future.

We are here to help you clear the land, cultivate it, and earn money as soon as possible!
