Operating in the Mykolaiv Sea Port outer roads, NIBULON MAX has transshipped 5 million tons of products and loaded more than 160 foreign-going vessels.Wheat comprises 41% of all shipments, corn – 38%, barley – 16%, rapeseed – 5%. The company has delivered agricultural commodities to destination ports in more than 30 countries worldwide, such as Bangladesh, Belgium, Egypt, Israel, Indonesia, Spain, Jordan, China, Mexico, the Netherlands, Germany, United Arab Emirates, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, Philippines, France, and others. As a result of NIBULON MAX's efficient operations and well-coordinated teamwork, the company set a record for the monthly export shipments in August 2021 by shipping 700.9 thousand tons of agricultural commodities. The best quarterly shipment statistic, namely 1.83 million tons of products, was achieved by the company in the first three months of the 2021/22 marketing year, 62% of which were shipped due to transshipments in the outer roads. NIBULON MAX loads Panamax vessels in 3 days. These characteristics enable the vessel to demonstrate perfect operation. The vessel is equipped with two CBG360 bow cranes (Liebherr-MCCTEC Rostock GmbH) with the maximum lifting capacity of 45 tons and the maximum outreach of 36 m. They are shifted 3,600 mm to the left from the central line. This enables the company to perform loading and unloading of Panamax vessels. The cranes’ productivity is 18,000 tons per day.NIBULON MAX has two cargo holds with the capacity of 13,400 cubic meters, which differs the vessel from other ones with high endurance. NIBULON MAX can operate continuously, loading and unloading commodities from its own holds. It can store cargoes when foreign-going vessels are not available, thereby releasing other vessels in the fleet to transport cargoes. In addition, NIBULON MAX is testimony to the new shipbuilding achievements of NIBULON and the country, as this complex project is the longest vessel built since Ukraine’s independence. It took the shipbuilders a year to build the floating vessel. Putting the vessel into operation in 2019 was an important event for modern shipbuilding. Today NIBULON has well-developed grain logistics and Ukraine’s most modern fleet, resulting from the company’s long-term and efficient investment project to revive the Dnipro and the Southern Buh as transport arteries. NIBULON MAX has considerably increased the company’s capacity to transport cargoes by river and to ship in the outer roads. According to the company’s specialists, the shipments via floating cranes can be soon increased by 26%, thereby enabling the company to efficiently use its own capacities in the outer roads. The shipment capacity is now 6 million tons. Today the entire world is watching Ukraine as a country which plays a key role in overcoming world hunger. The company will do everything to ensure world food security. As a result of an efficient global strategy, NIBULON’s shipping company has transported 25 million tons of various cargoes, having removed the equivalent of 1 million trucks from highways.
