He declared that “… Two weeks after the start of the restrictions, the ports of Kherson region record a decrease in the number of overloaded trucks. (…) During the first week, trucks arrived loaded with 40, 60 and 80 tons of cargoes, while the stated weight restrictions are 24 tons. The carrier, who sent a 180-ton truck to NIBULON, hit new low. (…) According to statistics, more than 90 % of trucks arrived overloaded. A week after the restrictions, when the inspectors actually stopped letting trucks into the ports, the statistics began to decline. Now we do not let two or three trucks a week”. The information stated cannot be true for several objective reasons.Firstly, NIBULON neither works nor receives nor transships agricultural commodities or any other products in the ports of Kherson region. Secondly, no NIBULON’s branch does have scales capable of weighing “a 180-ton truck”. Thirdly, no company’s branch has ever accepted 180-ton road trains.Unfortunately, from time to time officials spread false information in the media. For example, since the summer of 2015, the information invented and spread by the then official Roman Khmel has been constantly appearing on the Internet. Communicating either in a circle of acquaintances or somewhere else, he decided that the scales at the transshipment terminal were broken, and the reason for their breakdown was an overloaded truck of Shevchenko Self-Employed Person. The “news” seemed witty to him, and he quickly wrote a post on Facebook. And then he began to reproduce it, giving “expert” interviews. Our company has repeatedly stated that firstly, our scales are not designed for such a weight, and therefore, we could not accept such a truck; secondly, our scales did not fail. By the way, our company did not cooperate with Shevchenko Self-Employed Person. But the news was immediately spread because it was about a well-known company, and no one was interested in what really happened and whether it happened. The most active phase of the election campaign is imminent. The number of fakes and those who want to parasitize on the names of famous companies or individuals will only grow. Once again we call on the media to check information and the readers to be more careful not to fall for false news.
