Due to the excursion arranged by the company’s specialists, the youth familiarized themselves with the operation of NIBULON’s high-tech transshipment terminal in Mykolaiv. The visitors saw the technological processes with their own eyes, from the truck registry point to the agricultural commodity shipment for export.
The guests were interested in a process to take and sample products from three lines of road transport simultaneously, which is unique in Ukraine, thereby tripling grain quality analyses and improving the terminal’s efficiency. The pupils asked many questions, having inspected the terminal’s domes each with a capacity of 50 tons and a diameter of 65 m, which are the largest half-spherical structures in Europe and the world’s largest facilities to store grain.
“As part of the local lore conference, we have a great opportunity to visit NIBULON. It is interesting for me to learn the principles of its operation. Each facility and process at NIBULON is fascinating in its own way. It is obvious that much work has been done”, mentions Anastasia from Svitlovodsk (Kropyvnytskyi region).
The visitors observed NIBULON’s cargo fleet and watched the loading process at the terminal’s berth.
“The transshipment terminal impresses by its operations as well as its size. We are proud that the shipbuilding is being revived. It is great that the company is engaged in processing and exporting grain. We planned to visit NIBULON’s transshipment terminal beforehand, because children should know such a company. It is important for them to realize what to do and not just think and dream. It is necessary to implement plans and carry out really important activities. You are doing the right thing. We thank you for inviting the conference participants. The children from different Ukrainian regions saw Mykolaiv region’s development in XX-XXI centuries”, says Iryna Yemelianova, a coordinator of Mykolaiv Regional Center of Tourism, Local Lore Studies, and Excursions.
The youth also noted a beautiful landscape design at the industrial facility as well as its clean territory.
We cannot but like this beauty around. You have green and tidy areas everywhere. There are many bright seasonal flowers and trees, fountains, and nice places to relax”, tell Alina (Vinnytsia region) and Anastasia (Ternopil region).
At the end of the excursion, the guests thanked NIBULON’s management for the very interesting event and wished the company further development and success in our country.
