Last year, the company’s management decided to construct three filling stations to serve its own needs. At present, two out of three filling stations are successfully operating in the territory of Kremenchutska branch (Poltava region) and Svativska branch (Lugansk region). They ensure fueling of the company’s fleet and motor transport at the branches that cultivate agricultural crops. Putting into operation of these infrastructure facilities enabled the company to halve the terms of oil product delivery to the respective regions.
When the company obtained all the required permissions from the State Architectural and Construction Inspectorate, Budremkomplekt PE, NIBULON’s general contractor, started constructing the third filling station in Khmilnyk (Vinnytsia region) where one of NIBULON’s production branches is located.
The filling station to serve the company’s own needs will become the largest one among the company’s similar facilities, as it is equipped with 5 tanks of 75 cubic meters each. The total simultaneous fuel storage will comprise 375 cubic meters. NIBULON will also equip it with a tank car loading rack to unload two rail tank cars at a time, a fuel dispenser for fueling road transport, and a place to pour fuel into tank trucks.
At present, the specialists from Budremkomplekt PE have already mounted 5 fuel tanks and technological equipment for underground tanks at the construction site in Khmilnyk. They have already installed metalware of the tank car loading rack, constructed a sewerage system to drain rain and melted water from the filling station site. Soon, the workers will finish mounting electrical networks.
The specialists are actively installing technological equipment, a loading arm to pour fuel into tank trucks, a bottom unloading device, filters on the tank car loading rack, and industrial pipelines. The workers are making roof structures for a place to pour diesel fuel into tank trucks. Then the specialists will mount them. At the same time, the employees are installing automatic systems, lightning protection, etc. They are assembling a control room. The workers are performing territory improvement.
The construction of filling stations to serve NIBULON’s own needs is a significant step to develop an efficient logistics system. This filling station in Khmilnyk will enable the company to speed up the delivery of oil products by motor and railway transport to the company’s branches located in the central and western regions of Ukraine as well as to reduce logistics expenses. Diesel fuel storage at NIBULON’s filling stations provides considerable advantages both for the company and for its partners. It will improve the process of fuel delivery, redirecting it to railway transport. Consequently, this will reduce transportation by highways and traffic load on the roads as well as cheapen grain cargo transportation, thereby increasing purchase prices of grain crops.
