Each year NIBULON is acknowledged as the winner of the national ratings of shipbuilding enterprises and enterprises involved in navigation industry. A new achievement is the first place among Ukraine’s shipbuilding yards according to the results of the rating initiated by the Association of Shipbuilders of Ukraine Ukrsudprom.
NIBULON has won this rating for the second consecutive year.  NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard in Mykolaiv is one of the few shipyards in Ukraine that constructs complete vessels. It entered the Top 7 revived industrial enterprises of Ukraine that were revived and began to work more effectively: increased their profits, performed capital repairs of all workshops and entered a new production level.
Since the acquisition of the property complex of Mykolaiv shipbuilding yard “Lyman” (2012) and creation of NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard, the company has immediately started its large-scale reconstruction; that was the start of the construction of cargo fleet there. NIBULON has been increasing production rates of the shipyard, modernizing it, constructing new workshops, buying modern equipment for several consecutive years. It even intends entering the European market of complete vessels.
Last month, the shipyard launched its first 140-m vessel – NIBULON MAX high-capacity floating crane. And six years ago, at the time of the acquisition of the property complex, the plant did not build vessels, but only performed a limited list of repairs for specialized vessels up to 70 meters long. Thus, NIBULON launched it as a shipbuilding yard and brought it to an absolutely new higher level. Upon completion of the reconstruction, the shipyard will become the most modern plant in Ukraine and one of the best plants in Europe. This project is implemented due to financial support of such leading international financial institutions as EIB, EBRD, IFC.
Due to renewed facilities, the shipyard launches 6-7 vessels per year and provides job for 700 qualified employees.  NIBULON’s fleet will have numbered 80 vessels by the end of 2019.

Thousands of specialists are next in turn to get a job at our shipyard. People come back from abroad, they want to work at our company and revive our own Ukrainian shipbuilding. That’s what is called the real rise of the economy and the revival of the country. And I believe in our people!”, said NIBULON’s General Director Oleksiy Vadaturskyy.
According to the organizers of the rating (Ukrsudprom), the total volume of sales of shipbuilding enterprises in Ukraine in 2018 was almost USD 3 billion (an increase of 32 %, as compared to the indicator of the past year). The sum of ship repair services comprised UAH 501 million (an increase of 47 % , as compared to the previous year). At the same time, the sale of shipbuilding products decreased by 15 % with the growth of production.  It is expected that the manufactured products will be sold in 2019. Contribution to the budget increased by 24 % – about UAH 952 million. Every year, average wage increases steadily at all enterprises.
The shipbuilding revival is an extremely important impetus for the development of the Ukrainian economy. NIBULON became a pioneer and the main ideologue of this branch revival in Ukraine. Today, with its daily hard work, NIBULON proves that the development of shipbuilding has a huge potential. It gives impetus to the development of logistics, metallurgical industry, construction industry and the state as a whole.
The fact that NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard is the venue for the largest exhibitions in the field of shipbuilding and water transport held during last decade contributes to that fact.
