To date, all plates of the launching ways have been laid. At present, the specialists are covering them with crushed stone, testing and swaging the joints.
At the same time, the transfer device is being expanded by 12 m that will enable the shipyard to launch two times wider vessels of 30 m. In particular, the specialists of Tukurui Ltd. have laid foundation slabs on the ways No. 11-16. The specialists are preparing rubble-mound foundations, as well as laying large plates between the ways. The contractors continue performing excavation works on preparing rubble-mound foundations for the expansion of the launching ways No. 1-9.
Due to the large-scale reconstruction of the shipyard, in particular the reconstruction of the slipway and installation of the high-capacity portal crane LPS 180 (Germany), NIBULON’s shipyard will be capable of constructing and maintaining 140 m long and 30 m wide vessels. These are technical particulars of the longest and widest vessel in the shipyard’s history – P-140 floating crane. It will be launched and put into operation this summer. 
The next stage of the modernization of the shipyard’s production facilities envisages the construction of a joiner’s workshop and a cafeteria at the shipyard, as well as the reconstruction of the assembly and pipeline workshop. Dismantling works in the workshop have been finished. Tenders for construction works are being held. This will allow the company to place additional welfare spaces and to improve working conditions of the employees.
