The school’s team visited NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard and the company’s transshipment terminal for shipment of grain and oilseeds in Mykolaiv.
As always, no one was indifferent after an excursion. The children were particularly impressed by NIBULON’s shipyard. You don’t see the giant high-capacity shipbuilding equipment, go to the shipyard’s workshops, touch the huge parts of almost constructed vessel, etc. every day. The pupils familiarized themselves with the shipbuilding processes that were unknown to them and talked with professionals, having received professional answers to numerous questions.
“I would dedicate myself to shipbuilding. It is interesting. I also want to be a sailor. And I have a person, whose example I can follow. Now I see where a person can be really employed because I also want to work for the benefit of the country, as you do”, said a senior pupil Daniil.
According to the teachers, it is a special pleasure that the shipyard works with Ukrainian metal, and the company’s fleet is exclusively Ukrainian, since the vessels are designed by Ukrainian designers, fly the Ukrainian flag, and are maintained by Ukrainians.
“The generally accepted opinion that shipbuilding has died in Mykolaiv disappeared after the visit to NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard. And that’s amazing! You are so young and you have already achieved such results. I think it’s only the beginning. I am proud that there are such companies that develop our country. The people who say that nothing works and everything is bad should visit your company. It would be great to have more such companies like NIBULON, which are not indifferent to the fate of Ukraine”, said Oksana Shevchenko, a teacher.
It was also interesting for the schoolchildren to familiarize themselves with the company’s transshipment terminal. The existence of such a large laboratory to measure quality, safety GMO presence in grain and processed products, and many other indices was a real discovery for the pupils. The visitors were really impressed by huge domes-grain storages, as well as by green areas and recreation areas; and there are plenty of them at the terminal.  Daria, a pupil, said,          
“I hadn’t an idea what a huge company NIBULON is. You have shipbuilding workshops, a numerous fleet, impressive granaries, and such a large laboratory… I have never seen such ones before. It is beautiful, green in the area. I understand that the maintenance of all this requires significant funds, and looking at the excellent condition of equipment, machinery, etc., it is clear that you are the best and you take care of working conditions of your employees. We are very grateful to you for the excursion, for the opportunity to familiarize ourselves with a modern Ukrainian company NIBULON.
