The keys from modern machinery were officially presented at Agrospace Ltd., a supplier.  New Fendt 1000 series tractors will be delivered to NIBULON’s production branches today. In particular, the tractors will be added to the fleets of “Snigurivs’ka” branch (Mykolaiv region), “Chudnivs’ka” branch (Zhytomyr region), “Chygyryns’ka” branch (Cherkasy region). They will be involved in preparing soil for sowing winter crops soon.
The tractors of Fendt 1000 series have already been tested, since they have been successfully operating at the company’s branches since this spring. NIBULON purchased seven Fendt 1038 VARIO tractors under the foreign economic contract signed with the German company AGCO International GmbH and presented them at NIBULON’s transshipment terminal on March 29.
According to Illia Smahletskyi, head of Agrospace Ltd., the advantages of this model are the following: a powerful engine (396 hp), a completely automated front axle is used for the first time, an automatic stepless transmission, a system of automatic driving in the field,  
“Fendt 1038 is a modern manoeuvrable tractor. One Fendt 1038 tractor is capable of replacing twoFendt Favorit-824 tractors, which will greatly improve the terms of field works. The new tractor is versatile. In terms of fuel efficiency, fuel consumption of this tractor per hectare is 1-5 l less (depending on type of field work), as compared to tractors of other brands”.
It should be noted that the purchase of three new Fendt 1038 VARIO tractors is the next stage in NIBULON’s large-scale investment program to modernize its agricultural machinery. The amount of this year’s investment is about USD 8.6 million.
So, in addition to purchased ten (together with three new ones) Fendt 1038 VARIO tractors, the company’s agricultural machinery fleet has received twenty-two high-capacity Belarusian MTZ 952.3 tractors, ten new John Deere and Case combines, six Tiger-Mate II cultivators, three Kinze 3000 seeding machines, and Lemken Rubin 9-600 disc harrow. It is planned to purchase Lemken Rubin 10S800 disc harrows (2 units), Lemken Vari Diamant 11 ploughs (7 units), Amazone Citan 12001 seed drills (4 units), Great Plains 3S3000 seeding machines (3 units), STEP KM-6 field rollers (7 units), Dominioni sunflower and corn reaping machines (16 units), Geringhoff HSII corn reaping machines (4 units) by the end of this September. Among the main advantages of the new machinery are: high capacity, minimal fuel consumption with maximum productivity, and comfortable conditions for operators.
