Agricultural commodity to the above-mentioned branches is mainly delivered by agrarians from Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Kirovohrad, Donetsk regions. Such popularity of NIBULON’s high-tech transshipment terminals is quite natural, since their appearance has considerably reduced the distance of commodity transportation; due to this, farmers save both their own funds and the number of trucks to transport grain. Taking into account the fact that the grain received is transported to NIBULON’s sea transshipment terminal in Mykolaiv by river transport, traffic load on the country’s roads is reduced. In general, due to work of “Khortytsia” and “Holoprystans’ka” branches, 18.7 thousand trucks were removed from the highways. Taking into account the continuous expansion of the capacities of its own shipbuilding and repair yard, as well as increasing the size of its cargo fleet, NIBULON will be capable of transporting up to 4 million tons per year by water. As a result, more than 166 thousand trucks will be annually removed from Ukrainian highways.
Not only large suppliers but also small farmers take advantages of NIBULON’s modern facilities. In addition, NIBULON also works with producers who are not VAT payers, as well as with sole proprietors. In particular, 300 agreements for agricultural commodity supply were signed with “Khortytsia” branch and “Holoprystans’ka” branch in 2017/18 MY.
We would remind you that both transshipment terminals have the same technical characteristics: grain storage capacity – 77 thousand tons, daily capacity of dryers – 4 thousand tons, daily water transport shipments – 12 thousand tons, total shipment capacity – 300 thousand tons per year. However, as it was previously reported, NIBULON plans to increase storage capacity of five transshipment terminals, including storage capacity of “Holoprystans’ka” branch (by 20 thousand tons) and “Khortytsia” branch (by 16.5 thousand tons).
