NIBULON never stops at what has been achieved. Therefore, it continues reconstructing and improving facilities at NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard. Among main stages of production sites modernization are launching of new modern workshops (metal processing workshop and assembly and fabrication workshop equipped with state-of-the-art devices from leading manufacturers), two additional launching ways for construction and maintenance of 100-m vessels. In the near future, NIBULON plans to construct six more such ways, which will enable it to serve vessels of 140 m. At the same time, the shipyard constructs vessels. NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard is constructing five vessels at the same time. And the shipbuilding program is planned for several years ahead.
All these factors make NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard not only a modern high-capacity plant capable of implementing shipbuilding projects effectively, but also a unique object that attracts professionals, specialists in shipbuilding and all those who want to see process of vessels construction with their own eyes.
Head of the western department of Kazakhstan Register of Shipping Serik Omerzhanov visited NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard. Director of ProLINE Yacht Design & Engineering Bureau Ltd. Leonid Dubrov initiated this meeting. He visited the plant along with his deputy director Oleh Prykhodko.
The visitors were able to see all major production areas of the shipbuilding and repair yard, the newly built workshops equipped with state-of-the-art equipment from leading manufacturers. And they were very impressed,
“I am impressed by the way work is organized. I also have seen that NIBULON has a strong team of specialists. I believe that your experience is extremely useful to us. You are an example of a true modern shipbuilding enterprise”, said Serik Omerzhanov.
The guests familiarized themselves with the progress of the large-scale shipbuilding program and reconstruction of the shipbuilding and repair yard,
“It is extremely nice that your management sets the right priorities in work, looks to the future; these are great steps. We have seen not only cargo vessels but also passenger ones. And this means prospects”, said Leonid Dubrov.
The guests thanked for an informative visit and stressed that a high-capacity Ukrainian shipbuilding enterprise not only met their expectations, but also impressed by its scale, high-quality equipment, a team of professionals, and big plans for the future.
