Seven Shipbuilding Orders in Parallel

The first non-self-propelled B5000 project vessel (manufacturing order No. 10026)The shipbuilders keep getting a hatch cover opening and closing mechanism up and running. They are testing hatch covers for tightness. At the same time, the company’s shipbuilders are finishing final painting of compartments and marking waterline and logos. The first 100-m vessel with two holds with cargo capacity of 5,000 tons and with improved operational qualities will be put into operation and delivered to a customer soon.The second non-self-propelled B5000 project vessel (manufacturing order No. 10027)The specialists keep installing equipment in the forepeak. They also finish testing, cleaning and painting the buoyancy compartments. They have started painting outer plating, as well as marking draft marks and name of the vessel. The vessel will be launched soon to perform outfitting.The first and the second T3500 project tugs (manufacturing orders No. 10010 and No. 10011)The shipbuilders have already installed a pilot house, trunks of funnel, and a bow bulwark on the first tug. The specialists are welding the forebody section, superstructure and bulwark on the building berth. The assembly of hull structures framing the rudder propellers from Rolls-Royce is being continued in the vessel’s aft.  In parallel with installation of pipes of the ballast and drainage systems the shipbuilders have started testing the sea chest and ice box intended for receiving seawater which is used to cool the vessel's mechanisms in summer and winter. The mast is being prepared for installation.The shipbuilders keep forming the second tug’s hull on the building berth, as well as producing hull sections of the forebody and a pilot house.The first and the second POSS-115 project tugs (manufacturing orders No. 10028 and No. 10029)The specialists keep cutting and bending metal to produce hulls of two tugs of this project out of four planned ones. The first sections of the orders are being produced in the assembly and fabrication workshop and near the workshop.  The self-propelled P-140 project floating crane (manufacturing order No. 10032)The specialists of the metal processing workshop are cutting parts and bending metal to produce the vessel’s hull. Meanwhile, the specialists of the assembly and fabrication workshop have started forming the first section of the vessel. NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard in Mykolaiv is one of the few shipyards in Ukraine constructing complete vessels. It launches a new vessel almost every month. On the exhibition opening day (the exhibition will be held from May 23 to 25) the first T3500 project tug will be launched. It is intended for escorting of foreign going vessels along the Buh-Dnipro-Lyman Canal (hereinafter BDLC), mooring of vessels to the berths of the company’s terminals, escorting of convoys of non-self-propelled vessels (from 2 to 4 units) along the BDLC, and escorting of convoys along the canals during ice conditions in the navigation area in the Dnipro River and the Black Sea.

Андрій Вадатурський став генеральним директором «НІБУЛОНу» після понад 15 років роботи в компанії — в липні 2022 року.

Він прийняв цю посаду після трагічної загибелі свого батька та засновника «НІБУЛОНу» Олексія Вадатурського разом із матір’ю Раїсою Вадатурською під час російського ракетного удару по їхньому дому в Миколаєві.

З 2014 до 2019 рік був народним депутатом України від одномандатного округу в Миколаївській області та членом Комітету з питань аграрної політики. У 2017 році створив і очолив велику міжпартійну групу, яка виступала за розвиток українських річок як транспортного засобу.  

Має ступінь магістра електротехніки Українського державного морського технічного університету та ступінь магістра економіки промисловості Лондонської школи економіки. У 2009 році за вагомий внесок у розвиток агропромислового комплексу України був нагороджений Президентом України, йому присвоєно звання «Заслужений працівник сільського господарства».

Одружений, має трьох дітей.
