NIBULON Held an Open Day at Its Transshipment Terminal for Mykolaiv Mass Media

The event aimed to show the construction progress of the elevator complex as part of the transshipment terminal with a capacity of 43,000 tons, including the hydraulic facility – cargo berth, where the last part of the 11th section is being concreted. The company also presented 7 new Fendt 1038 VARIO tractors, which NIBULON purchased under the foreign economic contract signed with the German company AGCO International GmbH, and eight out of twenty-two Belarusian MTZ 952.3 tractors. When NIBULON constructs its facilities in different regions of Ukraine, every week it holds production meetings at its construction sites. The meetings are headed by General Director Oleksiy Vadaturskyy and are held with the participation of Serhii Besedin, Deputy General Director of Construction, representatives of regional and district administrations, contractors, the mass media, including Mykolaiv mass media.  However, we haven’t held such meetings during construction of the elevator complex in Mykolaiv. Firstly, this is daily work for us; we constantly coordinate work with contractors, and the meetings are headed by Deputy General Director of Construction Serhii Besedin. Secondly, the major part of the complex has been constructed in winter.  In addition, different guests often visit our transshipment terminal. We regularly cover these events, as well as construction progress of the elevator complex, on NUBULON’s official website and Facebook. When the weather conditions stabilized, NIBULON’s management decided to show the complex that was built in a short period of time. The technological and conveying equipment has been installed; the specialists have carried out pre-commissioning and all the necessary tests. Given the good weather forecasts, the territory improvement will be finished soon. The specialists will plant trees, lawns, etc. at the complex as at the company’s other branches. In addition, we also showed the media representatives the place where the conveyor belt of Telestack machine, which wasn’t connected to a power supply, began to burn on March 25. It happened because of negligence of an employee from one of the contractors (Evrostroimontazh Ltd.) engaged in constructing the elevator complex (this was covered on the company’s website). Since the conveyor belt is made of rubber, this was the reason for considerable smoke and exaggeration in local media. They wrote about alleged “large-scale fire”, “burning of the terminal”, “loading machine”, etc. to pay attention to their media resources.   In order to reassure public, business world and all those who are not indifferent to the activities of our company that everything is fine, NIBULON showed the guests the restored ship loader. The company’s specialists carried out maintenance and restored all equipment. In accordance with the technical regulations, the specialists are testing separate Telestack systems without load; then they will be tested under load. All the works are carried out under strict supervision of the specialists in occupational safety and fire safety.Everything is fine. The transshipment terminal works in a normal mode. So does the ship loading machine. The company in a very short time completely eliminated the damage caused by localized fire.  We express our gratitude to all people who helped us to eliminate the damage and all those who supported us.“We ask journalists not to look for a sensation in such trifles in the future. We are always ready to comment on any situation. This particular event was promptly covered on the company’s website and Facebook. We strongly recommend mudslingers not rejoice in such situations but think of themselves and do something useful for the country”, said Oleksiy Vadaturskyy.Ukraine will get only positive things from us in this difficult period. The future of our people and partners in various fields, namely in agricultural production, trade, shipbuilding, supply, engineering industry, material and technical equipment, etc. depends on us. The best representatives of these industries are reliable partners of the company, and we are grateful for this.
