At the beginning of the meeting, NIBULON’s General Director Oleksiy Vadaturskyy, Deputy General Director on Trading Volodymyr Slavinskyy and a Senior Trader Dmytro Furda held the negotiations with the foreign guests for further cooperation.
“I am very glad that you have visited our company. We often hold meetings with our potential business partners, hold negotiations and do everything to start our cooperation with them. We always ready to offer favourable terms for cooperation.  So the number of our business partners increases every year. To date, we have about 5 thousand partners in Ukraine”, said Oleksiy Vadaturskyy.
In turn, Hiroyuki Suekawa, Head of GM Food & Lifestyle Unit at Sumitomo Corporation EU, thanked NIBULON’s General Director for the opportunity to visit the company that has achieved such heights in Ukraine and is a well-known company in the world,
“Thank you for the time you have spent with our delegation. I am very pleased to familiarize myself with the company that has reached such development in Ukraine and which is known in the world. … Our company has 130 offices in 80 countries. Speaking about grain business, Sumitomo works not only for imports to Japan, but also provides its enterprises in China and has a grain terminal in Australia. We are happy to come to you and hope to develop our business together, because Ukraine is a strategic and very important grain supplier and has the potential to expand its position in the near future”.
After negotiations at NIBULON´s headquarters, guests from Sumitomo Corporation familiarized themselves with the work of NIBULON´s transshipment terminal, production technological laboratory equipped with modern devices, and NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard.
“I am very impressed with quite sophisticated activity of NIBULON for grain trading and shipbuilding. It was quite surprising for us that NIBULON is engaged not only in grain trading but also in shipbuilding development”, said Hiroyuki Suekawa.
At the end of the meeting, representatives of Sumitomo Corporation thanked NIBULON’s management for hospitality and invited to visit its subsidiary in China next month in order to study Chinese experience in imports and processing of agricultural products, as well as in river logistics development and fleet construction.
