In particular, the company managed to increase the milk output by almost 200 tons, the weight of cattle by 17 tons and pigs by 17 tons as compared to last year.
“NIBULON intensively develops livestock farming, which provides for improvement of production efficiency by increasing the productivity of the stock”, said the head of the department of animal husbandry and selling of products of its processing Oleksandr Klochkov. “Our successes in 2017 were based on effective team interaction, constant communication, mutual assistance and exchange of experience between the branches”.
In particular, the mixed fodder for animals is produced by “AK Vradiyivs’kyy” (Mykolaiv region) according to the recipes developed in a special fodder program, taking into account current needs of different age and sex groups of animals.
“Ensuring of production and timely delivery of mixed fodder are among the most important functions affecting the overall production efficiency. In 2017, we produced about 6,000 tons of mixed fodder for animals”, said Oleksandr Klochkov.
The company started developing livestock farming in 1997. At present, eight separate divisions in Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Mykolaiv, Khmelnytskyi regions are involved in livestock farming. The total number includes 2.7 thousand heads of cattle and 4.8 thousand heads of pigs.
In addition to production tasks, livestock farming is a socially oriented project aimed at increasing workplaces in the field of animal husbandry, as well as the provision of all branches with livestock products of own production. Particular attention is paid to the issues of providing the industry with professional staff. Good conditions for machine milking operators and maintenance personnel have been created. The livestock development has created and preserved 450 workplaces.
In 2009, NIBULON’s “Bystryts’ka” branch launched its line for the production of sausage and meat products. Natural and ecological products under NIBULON’s “Bystrytski Kovbasy” trademark are produced using traditional recipes in compliance with DSTU 4435:2005, DSTU 4436:2005 and DSTU 4591:2006 at its production facilities in Bystryk village (in Ruzhynka district of Zhytomyr region). NIBULON’s sausage and meat products are made of natural raw materials, without the addition of soya or synthetic aromatizers. The company plans to expand its production and develop new recipes in order to get maximum quality.
In 2018, NIBULON sets itself more ambitious goals. It is planned to improve efficiency of the industry by increasing the productivity of livestock due to zootechnical and organizational measures, optimizing production costs and reducing the cost of production, improving the feed base of its own production. All this will definitely have a positive effect on the production level and quality of finished products.
