Slipway is a horizontal shifting structure of arc slipways equipped with rails for launching and landing vessels and repairing them. The reconstruction envisages constructing launching vessels, which will bring the shipyard to a new level and enable it to launch and maintain 100-m long vessels within the possible technical standards.
The construction of two slipways No. 9, 10 has been completed by 90 %. 90 % of the foundation (length – 65 m, width – 25 m, height – up to 2 m) under the launchways was formed. To do this work, about 17 thousand tons of stone and crushed stone will be used; it is placed in the pit which was formed by Mykolaivets dredger. At the same time, diving work on ramming of the stone base is performed. After the foundation is formed, fourteen reinforced concrete slabs with rail tracks (18 tons each) will be laid.
After the reconstruction of the slipway, the total length of the slipways will be 710 m and the 620 m.
More than 4.3 km of cable products have been laid.
General construction work on the construction of the building to control the rails, which will look like a real tug and hopefully will be the subject of special attention of the shipyard’s guests, is completed by 80 %. General construction work has been finished. The next steps are finishing works, installation of the pilot house, and plating of the building with metal.
There is a competition between the shipbuilders and the builders who are building the launchways at NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard. Their main task is to complete the construction of the B5000 project vessels (length – 101 m, width – 17 m) and the construction of the launchways at the same time. It is planned to construct the first non-self-propelled В5000 project vessel and launch it by mid February. At the beginning of the 2018 navigation season, NIBULON’s fleet will receive a non-self-propelled vessel with a cargo capacity of 5,000 tons. In addition, the second В5000 project vessel is being constructed at the shipyard. It will be launched this April.
We would remind you that NIBULON’s reliable partners NK BUD, Hidrotekhmontazh, Yuzhelektromontazh, Kondratiuk Self-Employed Individual, Vladikos Private Company, Svitloliuks-elektromontazh and the shipyard’s employees are engaged in constructing at the shipyard.
The second stage of the modernization of the slipway is the construction of six more lanchways which will enable the shipyard to maintain 140-m long vessels and longer ones within possible technical standards.
