Fourth-year students from Admiral Makarov National Shipbuilding University have visited NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard this week; due to a large-scale modernization, NIBULON became a leader in the region in terms of equipment at its shipbuilding facilities.
As the group’s head, a senior teacher Volodymyr Ukho noted, the students have come from the People’s Republic of China to study in Ukraine under the international cooperation program. The goal of the visit to NIBULON’s shipyard is to familiarize the students with the stages of vessel construction, with modern equipment and new techniques in practice.
While familiarizing themselves with the production facilities of NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard, the students carefully observed each production process and operation of the equipment and were interested in manufacture of various parts of vessels and their markings.
At the end of the meeting, expressing their impressions, future shipbuilders noted the cleanness and tidiness at the facility, as well as modern foreign equipment installed there.
It should be noted that such excursions for future shipbuilders often take place at NIBULON’s facility, as practical shipbuilding is a guarantee of their successful professional becoming. NIBULON’s shipbuilders always assist their future colleagues with pleasure.
