On April 6, NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard solemnly launched its new modernized tug named after a famous Mykolaiv shipbuilder Yurii Makarov. The next day there were solemnities on the occasion of opening of built and reconstructed complex of treatment facilities in Bilenke village (Zaporizhzhia region).
However, NIBULON is constructing a high-capacity facility in Hola Prystan (Kherson region) in parallel with construction of its terminal in Zaporizhzhia region. Traditionally, there was held a production meeting headed by NIBULON’s General Director Oleksiy Vadaturskyy on April 8.
As always, participants of the meeting consisting of NIBULON’s specialists and representatives of the contracting organizations inspected the construction site where buildings of the major facilities of the high-tech terminal have grown up like mushrooms.
“A lot has been done over the last week. The every week’s progress is obvious. The weighing station is constructed; the specialists are completing finishing work there. The weighing station will have been put into commission by the end of the week and the contracting organization will proceed to other works. Construction of the transformer substation and the first floor of the administrative and laboratory building is almost finished. The walls of a modern canteen are constructed; necessary metalware is installed; the specialists are installing windows and doors and start interior finishing”, summed up NIBULON’s General Director Oleksiy Vadaturskky after inspection of the construction site.
The contractors are hurrying each other up: the ironworkers are hurrying the builders up as they need place to store metalware; the suppliers of equipment, in turn, are hurrying the ironworkers up. The first batches of equipment from BUHLER GmBh (Switzerland) and Cimbria Unigrain A/S (Denmark) have been received. All equipment will have been received by May 1.
The contractors are finishing constructing foundations for grain storages. The ironworkers have arrived at the site to mount the grain storages. The metalware for a truck tipper will be delivered on April 18. Assembly of metalware of the headhouse, that will be the highest point in the district, is in full swing. It was necessary to construct the foundation that is 3 meters lower than the Konka River.
“It was complex work that was performed by Kherson company “Olesia”, which, incidentally, is one of the best companies in building. The most difficult work heaped on its shoulders, and it successfully copes with it”, noted Oleksiy Vadaturskyy.
The construction site becomes smaller, but the number of contracting organizations and workers increases. The site turns into an anthill.
Summarizing the meeting, Oleksiy Vadaturskyy said that he was satisfied with the pace and quality of work; so, he had no doubt that the terminal would be put into operation in time and in the presence of respected guests, including ambassadors of different countries who had expressed a desire to visit the newly built terminal in Hola Prystan during a personal conversation with NIBULON’s General Director.
