The Iranian diplomat expressed his desire to see NIBULON’s facilities during the meeting with managers of Iranian companies. It took place at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic Iran in Ukraine in February; NIBULON’s General Director Oleksiy Vadaturskyy and Deputy General Director for Interaction with Public Authorities Volodymyr Klymenko were also invited. Last week, the Ambassador was at a conference in Kherson; he met with Oleksiy Vadaturskyy again and decided to take an opportunity to visit the company’s facilities.
Mohammad Beheshti Monfared familiarized himself with all production processes and facilities of both terminal and the shipyard in detail. In particular, he was impressed by the production and technological laboratory of the transshipment terminal which is equipped (according to the world standards) with laboratory and research equipment to measure grain and grain product quality. The laboratory can carry out the whole range of researches required to perform contracts due to the equipment and highly qualified specialists. The laboratory has no analogues in Ukraine.
There are no such laboratories in Iran. If representatives of the Iranian companies engaged in crop cultivation, poultry farming or grain cultivation visited our company and saw the profound analysis we conduct, how we treat the grain quality, they would have been delighted”, noted Oleksiy Vadaturskyy and the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Ukraine completely agreed with his comment.
During the excursion at the terminal the Ambassador also noted about the need for exchange of experience between specialists of agrarian sector of Iran and their Ukrainian colleagues from NIBULON. Thus, Iranian experts have a desire to come to the company’s facilities to familiarize themselves with the whole process of agricultural production: from growing to shipment on water transport.
In addition, during the meeting Mohammad Beheshti Monfared expressed his opinion on development of agrarian sector and opportunities for cooperation between NIBULON and Iranian companies, including the cultivation of olive gardens.
The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran saw NIBULON’s modern cargo fleet at the shipyard and metal processing workshop equipped with units from leading European manufacturers that was built within the first stage of the shipyard reconstruction, that’s being held in cooperation with the European Investment Bank. NIBULON’s General Director told about details of modernization and the Iranian diplomat asked Oleksiy Vadaturskyy to invite him to the solemn ceremony of commissioning of new facilities of the shipyard.
“Everything we have seen today shows that NIBULON is one of the largest companies in Ukraine engaged both in agriculture and shipbuilding. Certainly, I’ve been told a lot about NIBULON, shown different the brochures about the company photos, but in reality it’s much better and bigger. I’ve seen not a company but a city – NIBULON city, where people work for the benefit of the company, have hope and opportunities. There is a saying that everyone eats his bread. All the achievements of the company – result of teamwork and intellect. I am honored to stand with the General Director of such a diversified company”, shared his impressions the Ambassador.
At the end of the meeting Mohammad Beheshti Monfared said that he had seen many different companies and organizations in Ukraine, but they could not be compared with NIBULON. Therefore, he expressed a hope that NIBULON will consider the possibility of cooperation with Iran, ensuring that he will help to build relationships between the leader of Ukrainian agrarian market and Iranian companies.
