This day the company has crossed the milestone of half a hundred vessels. The non-self-propelled vessel of the B2000 project became the 50th unit of NIBULON’s fleet. Now total displacement of the fleet comprises 151,3 thousand tons.
Yuliia Shylina, a fitter for operation and maintenance of gas equipment at NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard, became the vessel’s godmother and symbolically broke a champagne bottle against the vessel’s side. According to Yuliia Shylina, launch of a new vessel is a reason to be proud of it for every shipyard’s employee. In her opinion, the fact that she became the vessel’s godmother is an unexpected regularity. “Every member of our team puts his/her heart into the common case. Everyone made his effort to construct this vessel at different stages of construction process. So, anyone has an equal right to be in my place”, noted Yuliia Shylina.
The construction of a series of the vessels that was started at the end of spring will be finished by September 2017. So, NIBULON’s shipping company will number 7 vessels of this series (so called “elevators on water”).
Main dimensions of these vessels are the following: length – 71.7 m; breadth overall – 17.0 m; depth – 3.3 m; draught loaded – 2.25m; light draught – 0.51 m; displacement – 2,597 t; cargo hold capacity – 2,988 m3; number of holds – 1; navigation area – Ukrainian inland waterways. 
This summer they have already started operating along the main water artery of Mykolaiv region having started agricultural commodities transportation from transshipment terminals of “Voznesens’ka” and “Novoodes’ka” branches.
One cargo trip of this vessel allows transporting up to 2,000 thousand tons of grain, which is equal to 80 trucks removed from the highways of the region. Later these vessels will operate along the Southern Buh River by convoys transporting 4 thousand tons of grain per one cargo trip and each time removing 160 trucks from the highways of Mykolaiv region.
It should be noted that NIBULON performs such cargo trips along the navigable area of the Southern Buh River (134 km). Revival of this water artery became possible due to dredging operations that were conducted at NIBUULON’s expense.
At present NIBULON’s shipbuilders keep on working to increase the number of units of the new company’s fleet.
In particular, the specialists are finishing construction of the fourth vessel of the B2000 project. Moreover, within the next few days they will start constructing the first tug out of 3 ones (modernized 121 project).
In turn, the shipyard’s orders for 2 years include construction of non-self-propelled vessels of the NBL-91 project and implementation of a new 90M project); construction of a self-propelled floating crane of the 901 project (similar to “St. Mykolai” self-propelled floating  crane); construction of multipurpose seagoing tugs of 3500 hp and 5000 hp (T3500, T5000 projects), and other.
