Thus, on June 10, the shipbuilding and repair yard NIBULON launched the second non-self-propelled vessel of the project B2000 designed for operation on the Southern Bug River. In general, the facility will build 8 such vessels, 6 of which will be launched by the end of 2016.
The vessel’s launching took place in working order. That’s why as soon as the vessel touched the water, the shipyard’s workers returned to their working places.
Acting Director of the shipbuilding and repair yard “NIBULON”, Roman Yefimenko, greeted all shipbuilders personally and on behalf of the company’s management with such an event that is important for the company as well as for the shipbuilding industry. He thanked shipbuilders for their productive work.   
The shipbuilding and repair yard NIBULON is the only company in Ukraine that builds complete vessels. Roman Yefimenko pointed out that shipbuilders had already laid down two new tugs. In addition, the shipyard will soon receive metal for building tugs of the modernized 121M project. Thus, NIBULON’s shipbuilding marathon has only started to pick up steam.   
Tetyana Poznyakova, a technical documentation engineer at the shipbuilding and repair yard “NIBULON” became a new vessel’s godmother. She has been the shipyard’s employee since the first days of its work. Tetyana had worked at the shipbuilding yard Lyman till 2013. “Due to Oleksiy Vadaturskyy the shipyard is in a fine way. It has constant orders. Attitude to people changed for the better. There is a discipline and order”, remarked Tetyana.
Non-self-propelled vessels of the B2000 project will be on their maiden voyage to the newly built transshipment terminal of the “Voznesens’ka branch”.  By the way, the company continues executing the dredging works, the first stage of which will have been finished by June 15. It will give an opportunity to open the Southern Bug River navigation.
These vessels will operate together with the 121 project tugs. A tow of 2 barges of the В2000 project will transport 4 thousand tons of grain per one cargo trip. It is equal to 100 trucks removed from regional highways. The company plans to increase grain capacity transported by the river to 1 million tons. According to information of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, one million tons of cargoes transported by river transport save UAH 790 million on pavement repair!
We should be recalled that within the framework of the investment project to revive the Southern Bug River as the main transport artery of the Southern Ukraine NIBULON not only builds modern cargo fleet and transshipment terminal in Voznesensk district of Mykolayiv region but also carries out dredging works on the Southern Bug River at its own expense. By the way, general construction work at the construction site is already coming to an end. Then specialists will perform commissioning work. This modern hi-tech facility will become the second terminal on the Southern Bug River.
