According to the Director of the transshipment terminal, Oleksandr Lepko, the schedule maintenance works were executed at almost all key facilities and namely:
– painting of truck tippers’ platforms, replacement of gates and machinery;
– repairing of winches of NEUERO vessel loading systems;
-maintenance of grain cleaning and transport equipment;
– testing of warning system for technological equipment;
– checkup of card system of transport recording and automatic process control system;
– testing of all components and aggregates of the drying complex;
– washing out of all transport galleries and grain cleaning tower;
– exterior paint works and facilities improvement.
The transshipment terminal is a modern facility that is unique not only for Ukraine but also for the whole Europe.
The total grain storage capacity of the transshipment terminal is 130 thousand tons. The theoretical capacity of the drying complex, if all grain drying units operate simultaneously, is 350 tons of grain per hour. The productivity of agricultural commodity receipts is the following: 20 thousand tons per day from road transport, 7.5 thousand tons per day from railway transport, and 40 thousand tons per day are shipped on water transport.
According to the results of the past 2014/15 MY, NIBULON exported 4.2 million tons of agricultural products, having performed 32 turnovers of the terminal.
