NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard has achieved another, though small but historical in its own way, victory in its activity.
It would seem that not so long ago NIBULON’s shipbuilders received the first metal to produce these vessels, at the begging of 2015.
It would also seem that not so long ago the President of Ukraine participated in keel-laying the third vessel.
Thus, NIBULON’s shipyard, the only one that works efficiently in Mykolayiv city, has again confirmed its reputation.
And NIBULON’s shipbuilders are preparing to receive completely new orders from the shipping company, in particular non-self-propelled vessels (B2000 projects).
In addition, the shipyard’s workload for 2016-2018 includes the implementation of a number of other shipbuilding projects: pusher tugs of modernized 121M project, multipurpose seagoing tugs of 3,500 and 5,000 hp, non-self-propelled vessels (90M project), and others.
Please note that at the same time the shipbuilders are finishing outfitting work on board Nibulonivets non-self-propelled floating crane that will operate together with Terex Fuchs MHL 385 D transshipment mobile grab crane purchased by the company earlier.
At present the crane is successfully completing mooring trials. Sea trials will be started soon.
The shipbuilders are completing the interior finishing inside the vessel. They are mounting equipment in the living accommodations, installing wall and ceiling panel plating in the cabins, and assembling bathroom equipment and furniture.
The specialists are painting open vessel’s areas.
The shipbuilders put into operation the equipment of radio communication and navigation systems, ramp hydraulics, automatic fire alarm and control systems, and hardware control system.
The new shipbuilding projects for 2016 will be started in the near future. In addition to constructing the non-self-propelled crane, NIBULON’s shipbuilders maintain and repair (if necessary) non-self-propelled vessels (NBL-90 and BN projects).
