In July 2015, NIBULON at its export marine terminal and in the outer roads of Mykolayiv Sea Port handled and shipped for export more than 572* thousand tons of agricultural commodities (out of which more than 237 thousand tons were loaded in the outer roads). It is one of the best results in NIBULON’s history. (In November 2013, the company shipped for export 628 thousand tons and in July 2014 – 620 thousand tons).
In July, NIBULON shipped the following crops: corn – 90 thousand tons or 15.7 %, rapeseed – 27.2 thousand tons or 4.8 %, barley – 214.5 thousand tons or 37.5 %, and wheat – 240.5 thousand tons or 42%.
The company loaded agricultural commodities at its marine transshipment terminal, and St. Mykolai self-propelled floating crane loaded them in the outer roads of Mykolayiv Sea Port.
In July, NIBULON loaded in total 16 motor vessels (including IRYDA motor vessel owned by ADM INTERNATIONAL SARL (Switzerland) with which NIBULON has signed a contract for multiple services to handle grain cargoes). The vessels entered Mykolayiv under the flags of Hong Kong (CMB MAE, JIN QI), Panama (OCEAN BLOOM, SEA DOVE, BOSPHORUS QUEEN), Turkey (INCE PACIFIC, EMANET), Liberia (ANGARA), Malta (KEREM, LEONARISSO), Cyprus (PANAMAX QUEEN, BEST ADVENTURE), Barbados (ARK ROYAL), and domestic grain was supplied to Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Libya, Indonesia (NIBULON supplied cargo to Indonesia in 2009 for the last time), and to United Arab Emirates. An average shipload comprised almost 36 thousand tons.
As of August 05, NIBULON shipped for export 583.4 thousand tons, and in 2015, the company shipped for export more than 2.507 million tons which is by 240 thousand tons more than for the same period last calendar year. Please note that NIBULON closed 2014/15 MY with the cargo turnover of more than 4.2 million tons.
