Temples and churches located in Ukrainian regions are among facilities about which NIBULON cares. As faith unites our people for centuries, gives them strength and hope for a better future. And today it promotes the development of a united and strong country.
Ukraine has celebrated important events. The country honoured the heroes of Kholodnyy Yar, and also celebrated the 420th anniversary of Bogdan Khmelnytskyy’s birth, recollecting other hetmans and Cossacks who fought for Ukraine. Such events were organized both in Chygyryn district and Kholodnyy Yar (Cherkasy region).
In particular, at the end of July 2015, the Great Martyr St. Peter Kalnyshevskyy Church (the last ataman in Zaporizhzhya Sich), canonized by the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Kyiv Patriarchate, was consecrated. The given church was built in Buda Khutor (Chygyryn district) where Maksym Zaliznyak’s oak is standing. It is a thousand-year-old tree symbolizing indestructibility of the Ukrainian generation.
NIBULON’s General Director Oleksiy Vadaturskyy was invited to participate in the solemnities.
This invitation demonstrates respect and gratitude to Oleksiy Vadaturskyy for his personal contribution to the development and preservation of spiritual monuments in Ukraine. In particular, in spring 2015, the company helped the church to complete construction and to decorate it with church utensils. Thus, NIBULON allocated half a million UAH to produce and install an iconostasis.
The Holy Patriarch of Kyiv and All-Rus’ Ukraine Filaret participated in the event and consecrated the church.
The Patriarch thanked Oleksiy Vadaturskyy for his support and understanding. Good deeds return a hundredfold to such patriots; they bring success and blessing. And today the church and supporters of Ukrainian statehood have the common aim – to serve God and to work for the benefit of Ukrainian people.
The Patriarch decorated NIBULON’s General Director with the Order of St. Yuriy the Conqueror for his contribution to the revival of spirituality in Ukraine and strengthening of the local Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
NIBULON’s assistance to the Great Martyr St. Peter Kalnyshevskyy Church demonstrates that the company promotes the Ukrainian spirituality revival.
The company regularly allocates funds to reconstruct and repair temples, paint walls, clean territories, and to organize holy days, beneficial meals, historical conferences, etc.
In particular, NIBULON has been assisting to preserve spiritual monuments in Cherkasy region for more than 8 years; thus, its assistance to the church (Buda Khutor in Chygyryn district) is not the only one. NIBULON allocated funds to reconstruct Bogdan Khmelnytskyy Residence (historical and architectural complex), construct Holy Assumption Church, the Great Martyr and Healer Panteleimon Church, and to issue the books, such as “Golden Horseshoe of Cherkasy Region”, “Cherkasy Region is a Depository of Spirituality”, and others.
