New Cooperation Level between NIBULON and the Soufflet Group

The French company has a long history (it was created on the verge of XIX-XX centuries as a grain procession company), and now it is a group of companies, achieving leadership positions in malt exports and production as well as in grains exports, the use of modern biotechnologies and flour-milling business.
A 86 year old Michel Soufflet himself is a legendary figure in the world business.  His energy, creative and modern thinking and the ability to make good decisions promoting success in the global business process cannot help but admiring. He praised Oleksiy Vadaturskyy, in particular he noted NIBULON’s activity, logical sequence of the Ukrainian company development, view of perspectives and correct response of O.O. Vadaturskyy’s team to challenges in the domestic and world economic space.
One of the main topics during the meeting was to continue cooperation between the companies taking into consideration the existing experience and work by contracts. According to Oleksiy Vadaturskyy and Michel Soufflet, both companies have mutual economic interest that was confirmed by the Soufflet Group Managing Director Jean-Francois Lepy, Administrative Director Steve Blackford, Trading Manager Frederic Ternois and the Director of the Soufflet Group Representative Office in Ukraine Mykola Gorbachov.
A family business and its ideology was an important issue to be discussed. It is not a secret that France and Ukraine have different views of these issues in terms of mentality. The negotiators have agreed that it is quite logical to start a family business that attracts investments under the impact of economic factors, and then business integrates into the economic environment. The Soufflet Group and NIBULON represent another nonintergation way to save and develop business in its permanent form.
The Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Soufflet Group is aware of the latest events in Ukraine. In addition, he asked Oleksiy Vadaturskyy a lot of questions. In particular, he asked about the attitude of the current and previous authorities towards business. NIBULON’s General Director stressed that the current authorities, unlike the previous ones, did not put pressure on private companies, although Ukraine had a lot of financial and economic problems.
The colleagues were interested in the prospects of the Ukrainian agrarian sector development. Michel Soufflet wanted to know absolutely everything, namely grain yield to be expected this year in Ukraine, how Crimea’s annexation will impact on a gross yield and how Ukraine can use its agricultural possibilities as much as possible.
NIBULON’s General Director stressed that the company actively cooperated with leading foreign financial institutions, and efficient financing would promote the development of the Ukrainian agrarian sector potential. The European financial society must be aware of the real economic situation in Ukraine and provide loans directly to large, middle and small companies. Banks must choose clients and give credits under the guarantees of governments and other banks. NIBULON is experienced in this issue, although the company receives loans under the western governments’ guarantees.
Logistics arrangement is a current economic issue. Oleksiy Vadaturskyy shared his impressions from the business trip to the USA, where he familiarized himself with the activities along the Mississippi River, an important water area in the country. He also told about plans and NIBULON’s initiative to dredge the Dnipro and the Southern Bug.  He asked about river arteries in France. Michel Soufflet informed that transportation business along rivers was structured, and several companies provided transport services here. He also mentioned about dredging problems in his country.
Michel Soufflet is ready to familiarize NIBULON’s specialists with his facilities, in particular elevators on water and also to demonstrate river transportation practice.
During the friendly meeting, the Ukrainian guests presented their French colleagues with the Ukrainian embroidered towels (rushnyk), Euromaidan coins and NIBULON’s photoalbum.
