Their talent is vocal; the choir consists of war and labour veterans of Mykolayiv Regional Palace of Culture (chief musician – V.I. Gorbenko). They also have a gift to be glad for success and achievements of others, to be sincerely delighted with things being a pride of the city as well as the country.
They demonstrated these very features at NIBULON’s facilities. The transshipment terminal impressed the guests with its large territory, perfect cleanness, a lot of greenery and flowers. “It is hard to believe that it is an industrial company. But for these structures, we would feel sitting in the public garden”, said the guests.
Each veteran has professional experience and worked for decades, but they all were impressed by the production and technological laboratory at the transshipment terminal, where grain exports starts with sampling, product analysis, researches, including measurement of toxic agents, mycotoxins and GMO content.
The veterans are experienced people; they saw elevator complexes and structures. But they have never seen such a technology to handle grain, achieved due to the up-to-date modern leading equipment at the terminal. The guests were particularly interested in the unique domes (grain storages), their construction technology and operation. The visitors realized that the export terminal included not just capacities for long-term grain and oilseed storage, but it was the full-fledged complex to bring commodities to the required conditions and shipment thereof for export.
The veterans got to know that NIBULON constructs vessels at its own shipbuilding and repair yard. The guests were also impressed by the shipyard. They saw the construction of the 121 project tugs and NBL-91 non-self-propelled vessels. They were told about NIBULON’s cargo fleet and construction plans – 12 shallow-draught tugs, 12 non-self-propelled vessels and “Volgo-Don Max” class vessels.
The veterans could not help but expressing their delight, as today there is so much negative information on the Ukrainian economy condition.
Iryna Seraya said, “Everything impresses here both the laboratory, where the specialists demonstrated researches on grain, the terminal’s territory and the shipyard which NIBULON had revived… The entire Ukraine must know about NIBULON and follow its example”.
Tetyana Tselishcheva said,“I personally find myself in the 21st century at NIBULON – in terms of modern equipment and its territory aesthetics. People like to work for this company. If Ukraine had had more companies like NIBULON, we would have lived like Europeans”.
