The All-Ukrainian rating “Prompt taxpayers” was initiated by the Taxpayers Association of Ukraine in 2011 and is held in order to create favourable conditions for cooperation between business and the state. The rating consists of two stages – regional and All-Ukrainian ones in 2011 and 2012. On April 29 there was held the awards ceremony (1st round) of the rating.
Opening the ceremony, the Head of Mykolayiv Regional Rating Commission Nataliya Zaporozhchenko informed on 16 winners in 9 categories and congratulated the laureates. According to her, there is a wonderful word such as “good faith” and I would like this word to be used more often when conducting business in other sectors.
First Deputy Head of the Regional State Administration Mykola Romanchuk, who awarded the winners under the category “Agrarian sector and construction”, stressed, “It is both responsible and honorable to be a manager of a company that allocates money to the budget. These funds are directed to medicine, pensioners, army… This testifies that business can and must be honest, transparent and responsible”.
NIBULON is a winner under the category “Agrarian sector” (“large companies”) according to these criteria. Svitlana Shulika, NIBULON’s chief accountant, received the award.
The company achieved a lot in 2014. According to the results of 2013/14 MY, NIBULON exported more than 4.5 million tons of grain and oil crops. The company successfully continues to implement its program to construct fleet at its own NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard. In 2014, the company put into operation NIBULON-5 and NIBULON-6 tugs that transport cargoes along the Dnipro. Recently, NIBULON has launched the first two out of thee tugs (121 project) which construction was started on August 21, 2014 with the participation of the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko. The vessels will transport cargoes along the Southern Bug. The company plans to put into operation these vessels in May 2015.
NIBULON is one of the leading investors, agricultural producers and exporters. The company implements a number of social projects in 12 regions of Ukraine where it conducts its business activities.
There was announced another wonderful news at the ceremony. The day before the Highest Rating Commission of the All-Ukrainian rating “Prompt taxpayers” held a meeting according to the companies’ working results in 2014. Mykolayiv region represented 11 companies out of which 5 companies became the winners. NIBULON won under the category “Prompt taxpayer in the agrarian sector – an income taxpayer”.
